The hotel is situated 25km from Palma, 15km from the airport and 11km from El Arenal beach, with daily transport there should you require it.

This well established hotel was built in 1965 and then 34 years later, in 1999, it was completely renovated. Now there are 360 rooms, 40 of which are apartments and the rest are doubles. There are standard rooms, for two adults, superior for up to three people and then a studio flat, which again is for three people, but also has a kitchenette.

For a family staying in the Sun Club El Dorado, you can adjoin the standard and superior rooms to make accommodation more suitable. All rooms have balconies with furniture, a shower room, a safe and a lounging area.

The hotel provides to all your needs with a reception desk that is open all the time, a place to change your money and internet access. There are medical services available six days of the week, a shop that sells papers and other essentials, a wash room with dryers and washing machines and transport is available to take you to the nearest towns.

The restaurant serves buffet meals with chefs showing you how they cook the meals and snacks are on offer throughout the day, including sandwiches, ice creams and pizzas. There are three bars serving hot, cold and soft drinks, choose from the Saloon Bar, Bar El Barco or the Pool Bar for that refreshing cocktail while you wallow in the water.

You need not go far when you stay at the Sun Club El Dorado as there are three swimming pools, one of which is heated in the slightly chillier months. A water slide provides fun for children and adults alike, plus a jacuzzi for that extra bit of fizz. If you fancy your hand at tennis, there are four courts available, plus also an area for beach volleyball, one for multi-use which is for five-a-side football and basketball and also a regular volleyball court.

But it does not end there with three tables for table tennis, a squash court and two courts for badminton. Children can enjoy a round of mini-golf or have a ride on a horse or pony at Ranch Eldorado, where ten horses are stabled.

The hotel has a full programme of entertainment to keep you amused throughout your holiday from gymnastics and aerobics to pistol shooting and water polo. Why not take up a challenge you have never tried before on the climbing wall or have a go at diving with an introductory lesson?

Relax in the evening with a drink in the bar before being entertained with a variety of shows like cabaret which are on every night during high season. There is a mini disco for children then the adult disco starts at 11.30pm and takes you through the night. What a way to spend your holiday!
