Built in 1988, the Portomar complex has a total of 82 one and two bedroomed apartments that are built over 5 floors. All apartments at the Portomar are equipped with a fully fitted kitchen with fridge and cooking utensils, along with additional sofa-beds, a private bathroom with shower, and either a balcony or terrace.

Guest facilities include a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services, a buffet style restaurant, television lounge and lounge bar. Other leisure facilities include an outdoor pool with separate children's pool that is set amidst 3,000m2 of sun terraces and gardens.
