The 2 star Hotel Playa Mondrago has an enviable beach front location overlooking the secluded Cala Mondrago beach in the district of Santanyi
on the quiet south east coast of Majorca. The hotel is around 60km east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 4km
from the resort of Porto Petro where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1964 and completely refurbished during the winter of 2004, the family run Hotel Playa Mondrago has a total of 43 guest rooms, offering a choice of both standard twin and single rooms, as well as a selection of both one bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats. All guest rooms at the Hotel Playa Mondrago are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views. In addition to the above features, both the apartments and studio flats at the hotel also have an open plan kitchenette and a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, and all guest rooms are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with an air conditioned bar and restaurant offering the best of Majorcan cuisine, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, a small supermarket where you can buy a variety of goods including newspapers and magazines, as well as laundry services and a poolside bar. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
