Built in 1965 and fully refurbished during the winter of 1996/97, the Hotel Playa is a small hotel that has a total of 94 guest rooms that consist of 2 single rooms, and 92 doubles that are built over 5 floors. Most rooms at the hotel have either a full or partial sea view, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom, air-conditioning, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box and either a terrace or balcony.

Guest facilities include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and luggage storage room, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and lounge bar. Sporting and leisure facilities at the hotel include a an outdoor swimming pool with sun terraces, loungers and parasols and small well equipped gymnasium.
