Built in 1959 and fully renovated during the winter of 2005/2006, the Grupotel Nilo has a total of 115 guest rooms which includes 99 double rooms and 16 singles that are built over 5 floors and set amidst 1,000m2 of well kept gardens and terraces. All guest rooms at the hotel are both air conditioned and centrally heated, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box, satellite television with music channel and either a balcony or terrace.

Guest facilities at the hotel include a reception area with currency exchange services and luggage storage room, along with an air conditioned restaurant and lounge bars. Sporting and leisure facilities include a choice of two outdoor swimming pools with children's splash pool, along with a heated indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and gymnasium. The Grupotel Nilo also provides a seasonal programme of daytime activities with games and competition, and evening entertainment with professional shows and dancing to live music.
