Built in 1969 and fully renovated during the winter of 1998, the Hotel Java is a large hotel with 250 guest rooms that consist of 25 single rooms and 225 doubles that are built over 9 floors amidst 1,000m2 of well kept gardens and sun terraces. Most of the rooms at the hotel have either a full or partial sea view and all are air conditioned with a modern "en suite" bathroom, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, safety deposit box and either a terrace or balcony.

Guest facilities include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and luggage storage room, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and lounge bar. Sporting and leisure facilities at the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool with sun terraces, loungers and parasols, along with a fitness centre and sauna. The Hotel Java also provides a seasonal programme of daytime activities and evening entertainment for adults and children with games, competitions, live music and folklore shows.
