The 4 star Hotel L'Hermitage is situated in the heart of Mallorca, and offers guests an ideal place to relax and unwind in a tranquil, rural setting in the valley of Orient, overlooked by the magnificent Tramuntana mountains. The hotel is approximately 30km north west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 9km from the residential town of Alaro, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Formally a 16th Century manor house and monastery, the Hotel L'Hermitage has a total of 24 guest rooms, many of which are decorated in a traditional Mallorcan style featuring antique furniture and fireplaces. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and bathrobes, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar, work desk, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the herb garden and cloister towards the spectacular Alfabia mountain range. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a comfortable lounge bar and a la carte restaurant situated within the former oil mill, offering guests a wide choice of both international and traditional Mallorcan dishes. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool, with spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols, along with two hard surface tennis courts and a smaller indoor heated pool with sauna. Guests staying at the Hotel L'Hermitage also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels own Spa and Wellness Centre, offering a variety of cosmetic and beauty treatments including aromatherapy, massage and facials.
