Built in 1963 and recently fully refurbished, the Hotel El Cid has a total of 216 guest rooms that comprise 24 single rooms, 186 doubles and 6 suites that are built over 6 floors amidst 2,000m2 of well kept gardens and sun terraces. All rooms at the hotel have either a full or partial sea view, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with hair dryer, air-conditioning, satellite television, mini-bar, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box and either a terrace or balcony.

Guest facilities include a spacious 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and luggage storage room, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and lounge bar. Sporting and leisure facilities on the complex include a choice of three swimming pools with sun terraces, loungers and parasols, gymnasium, sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, and tennis court.
