Built in 1969 and fully renovated during the winter of 1999, the Castell del Hams has a total of 222 double rooms that are built over 3 floors and set amidst 15,000m2 of landscaped gardens and terraces. All guest rooms at the hotel are equipped with a modern fully fitted bathroom, direct dial telephone, television, safety deposit box, central heating with ceiling fan, and either a balcony or terrace.

Sporting and leisure facilities include a choice of three outdoor swimming pools with sun terraces, loungers and parasols, along with a heated indoor pool with sauna and gymnasium. In addition the hotel has four tennis courts, two squash courts, and a multi sports activity area for basketball, volleyball, football etc. The Hotel Castell del Hams also provides a seasonal daytime activities programme with competitions, games and quizzes.
