Any families travelling with children cannot miss the biggest water park on Mallorca called Aqualand El Arenal. It's open at 10am everyday
during the summer months until October, although we feel that entry prices are a little steep at 20€ for adults and 14€ for children. This
attraction also becomes very popular during high season with most of the major tour operators running trips here from all over the island.

Golf Maioris is one of the best value golf courses in Mallorca with a round costing 72 euros (2011 price) but between 1 June and 31 August a buggy
is also included in the price, a saving of 30 euros. Golf Maioris was opened in 2007 and is the second course in the Pula Golf group.
A championship-standard course, it is set amongst the classic Mallorquin landscape of pine, carob and olive trees, and offers a stern
challenge to any golfer - four lakes and two "island" greens see to that! For more information their contact details are:

The nearby town of Llucmajor also hosts a market that can lay claim to be one of the oldest on the island. In 1543, the king-emperor Carlos V granted to Llucmajor the royal privilege that it could hold fairs from the 29th of September until the 18th of October, and also weekly markets on Wednesdays and Fridays. This custom still continues today, 468 years later, when each Wednesday sees a vegetable market set up in town, whilst Fridays see a larger market selling a range of local goods. An additional vegetable market is also available on Sundays.
Furthermore, local fairs that take place also coincide with the dates granted all those years ago. The second Sunday of August is the date for the Santa Càndida celebration, whilst the 29th of September is a celebration of Sant Miquel. The last fair, or known locally as "Darrera Fira" runs on the Sunday before St Lluc (18th October), whilst the Firo occurs on the Monday after the last fair.
