Built in 1990, the modern low rise Aparthotel Blau Punta Reina Club has a total of 812 guest rooms, including 212 twin rooms, 445 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 155 studio flats, all of which are distributed between a number of 2 and 3 storey buildings and set amidst almost 40,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have either pool or garden views. In addition to the above, apartments and studios on the complex also have an open plan kitchenette, fully equipped with with crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchenware, along with a combined lounge/dining room with 2 convertible sofa beds. All guest rooms at the Aparthotel Blau Punta Reina Club are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international dishes and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bars, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, a supermarket and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Aparthotel Blau Punta Reina Club also offers the use of a conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat up to 100 guests, which is fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment including a screen and overhead slide projector.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools with fountains, one of which also features a beach style entry, as well as two smaller children's splash pools and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, open during the cooler winter months, with Jacuzzi, Sauna and gymnasium, as well as a children's playground and mini club, a multi-purpose sports area for football and volleyball etc, 5 hard surface tennis courts, mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Aparthotel Blau Punta Reina Club also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
