Built in 1990, the complex has a total of 812 guest rooms of which 212 are double rooms and the remaining 600 are either apartments or studios. All rooms at the Blau Punta Reina Club benefit from both air conditioning and central heating, and have a private "en suite" bathroom, direct dial telephone, piped music, safety deposit box, satellite television, and either a balcony or terrace. In addition there are also 4 double rooms that have specially adapted for disabled guests. Apartments on the complex have the same facilities as the double rooms with the addition of a combined living/bedroom with two sofa beds and a fully equipped kitchenette.

Guest facilities include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage storage room, along with a non smoking buffet restaurant, pizzeria, supermarket, internet access terminals, and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities include two outdoor pools with heated indoor pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi, along with five tennis courts, squash court, mini golf and a multi-sports activity area for volleyball, or football etc.

In addition the Aparthotel Blau Punta Reina Club provides a daytime activities programme that includes aerobics, aqua-gym, boules, archery, and air rifle shooting, along with live music and shows in the evening.
